Papers run off the presses Thursday afternoon at the Tribune Publishing Company on Fourth Street. As more and more newspapers are facing the red or even shutting down, Sen. Ben Cardin, D-Md., proposed a bill to bailout newspapers by allowing them to become non-profits, thereby exempting them from taxes.
