Ooh-la-la, Gaga?
I give this shout out because "Bad Romance" has been running through my head, night and day, for the past three days.
Lady Gaga is infectious. Her voice is powerful and sultry at times. Her clothes? Futurama stripper-esque. Her long, platinum blonde hair and sexy legs strut the stage in an outright raunchy manner. But why do we all obsess over Gaga? Sure, her songs can be addicting and her name is a hot topic on any of the tongues of pop-music enthusiasts. Gaga is a style star, believe it or not.
Maybe wearing a bird's nest around your face isn't the most mainstream or stylish fad, but Gaga's never been mainstream. This backward-minded diva has been seen strutting the streets of Zurich, Switzerland in a bold, newspaper-printed suit, heavy on the shoulder-paddage. She rocks the Christian Dior Josephine (bug-eyed) sunglasses like they're attached to her temples.
Most recently, Gaga can be caught in her video for "Bad Romance" sporting [an authentic dress and heels by Alexander McQueen] (http://www.fashion-stylist.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/image/AlexanderMcQueen_lady_gaga_bad_romance.jpg). You know, the one that makes her look like something completely — out of this world. Gold studs everywhere, an off-kilter shape and shoes that look impossible for any human to walk in.
Yes, maybe not everybody can walk out the door in the morning to work or class wearing a police officer's hat and a leather jumper (or wake up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy), but Gaga gives us hope. One musician, one icon, one person is confident enough to give the middle finger to the public opinion of fashion and tell her own story, convey her own personality with her clothes. I think it's admirable. And maybe I'm going a little deep into this issue, but admit it. She's pretty ballsy — and ballsy in more ways than one, we shall never know.
So tonight, we salute you, Ms. Platinum Blonde, Diamond-Drenched Leaf-Wearer (cue cheesy Budweiser commercial).

I've been forced to work and was pushed around while practically dying- UC is equivalent to cancer- you bleed without hospitalization, and you die!! I had to work under these conditions. I was illegally forced into bankruptcy which would have been avoidable if I sold my condo for a $40K gain like the woman down the hall on the same floor from me years ago!! Instead, I was forced to sell it at a loss!! There is something seriously wrong here!! Over the years, I have an accumulation of various evidence and events like the above to prove my case! Just because I cannot afford a lawyer does not mean that it's okay for people to abuse me and walk all over me!! Every time I try to make money, someone does something to prevent me from making money (like my Options X-press account)! I've even been told that I do not know how to save money when I have a BBA degree!! A lot of these people involved are religious; however, I see them all sinning within their own denominations while exercising there bullying and judgment on other people. This is horrific! I am scientifically minded with some artistic abilities beyond a lot of people out there. I forced myself to watch hockey while I know of several people (like at work) who did not and harassed me for not watching hockey, even though I know certain players in hockey were involved in what was going on in my life! I also know that the UN Human Rights Commission is now aware of what is going on here, along with the CBC, CKNW, CNN, all kinds of major TV networks, Hollywood, , etc... (the entire world)!!! I refuse to work and be exploited illegally and be falsely confined in my own home, especially when there is horrific inconsistencies in the system- like Clifford Olson getting pensions!! Therefore, I have less than 3 weeks left to live now. All I ever wanted in the beginning was basic human rights and freedom!! But, now, it's like being someone back in high school who has never had a date (at 40 years old)!! It's now "do or die"!!
