Columbia resident robbed at local carwash
A Columbia resident was the victim of an armed robbery while at a local carwash Monday evening, stated a Columbia Police Department news release. The robbery happened at 1722 Paris Road.
a 48-year-old woman was cleaning her car when an unidentified man came from behind and and demanded her purse. When she refused and tried to get away, the man took out a silver colored handgun and threatened her, stated the news release.
The man then took her purse and ran to an awaiting dark colored vehicle and drove away in an unknown direction.
The woman was not injured.
