Rock Bridge student found in apparent suicide
Stuart Eiken, 17, was discovered by a passing motorist around 7:30 a.m. Saturday hanging by the neck from a ligature tied to a Columbia municipal well head along Burr Oak Road, stated a post by the Columbia Daily-Tribune. Eiken was a member of the Rock Bridge High School football team.

Columbia Police Department spokeswoman Jessie Haden said the cause of death had not been determined by the medical examiner and the police plan to conduct interviews with all available witnesses. Haden said they suspect no reason of foul play.
