Smoke reported in Hatch Hall (Update)
The MU Police Department confirmed Columbia Fire Department's response to a fire alarm in Hatch residence hall. Smoke was reported in the building. MUPD vehicles were dispatched to direct traffic.
Columbia Fire Department Division Chief Dean Martin said the smoke came from a belt in the air handling unit on the roof. There was no fire and no injuries were reported.
